Marc Saulino returns as Bango expands operations

Bango Inc, the mobile analytics and payment specialist, has announced today the re-appointment of Marc Saulino as Head of Business Development.

Saulino began his career in mobile commerce business development at Bango between 2006 and 2008. He then took a position at start-up Billing Revolution, overseeing the initial sales of that company’s mobile credit card play. He returns to Bango after his brief sabbatical with greater experience of how mobile payments businesses succeed or fail.

Saulino will be based at Bango’s new headquarters in New York, where he will be responsible for developing strategic sales opportunities for Bango and for overall business development, particularly targeting major media corporations in the Americas.

“These are exciting times for Bango as we continue to make excellent progress with the major businesses leveraging mobile marketing and payments,” said Martin Harris, SVP Corporate Sales at Bango. “Bango is expanding and moving to new headquarters to serve this large and fast growing market and we’re happy to welcome Marc back as Bango’s new Head of Sales at this important stage.”

“Bango is a key player in the mobile payment market with their unique mobile operator and credit card billing technology,” said Saulino. “As the demand for sophisticated mobile payment solutions rapidly grows, Bango has continued to demonstrate its leadership in the mobile market with thousands of customers and relationships with major players like RIM and Yahoo.”
